# How to use Linkatron

1. Invite the bot to your server using [this](https://dsc.gg/linkatron) link.
2. Set the default channel to create invites by using the `/set defaultchannel` command. This channel should be viewable to anyone who joins the server for the first time.
3. Set your log channel using the `/set logchannel` command.
4. Create invites with the `/create` command. You can define a Primary & Secondary source. You can find examples of these below.

By default, only members with Administrator permissions can use Linkatron's commands. You can override this by going into `Server Settings` → `Integrations` → `Linkatron`.

### Example Sources:

* A link on your server's website
  * **Primary:** Website
  * **Secondary:** Invite button in the top right
* A link in a YouTube video's description
  * **Primary:** YouTube
  * **Secondary:** \<Video URL>
* A Discord self-promo channel
  * **Primary:** Discord
  * **Secondary:** \<Server Name> Self-Promo
